Our Acupuncturist Carrie
Carrie Sesterhenn is passionate about acupuncture and alternative medicine and it’s view of each person as an individual with unique needs and goals. Helping individuals achieve optimum wellness through this medicine, providing support though lifestyle changes, and giving them the tools they need to heal themselves are all the reasons why she fell in love with acupuncture in the first place.
After dealing with a chronic foot injury, a friend of hers suggested she try acupuncture. Not only has she not had any foot pain for the past 8 years, but during the course of her treatment a host of other chronic issues that she had resigned to live with began to improve. This led to a career change: she really connected with acupuncture’s philosophy of treating the whole person, not just their symptoms, and she wanted to help others in the same way she had been.
Among her specialties include helping with: digestive disorders, gynecological issues and infertility, pain management, stress and anxiety, sports related injuries, weight management and cosmetic acupuncture and facial rejuvenation..
