Introducing Caroline Wilkerson, L.Ac.
Since high school Caroline was drawn to Chinese language and culture, but it was during her time in the Navy while serving as a Chinese Language Analyst that she discovered her affinity for Chinese Medicine. Today, she believes in providing holistic healing that improves every aspect of her clients’ lives. In her free time she enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling and laughing at her own jokes.
Caroline is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. Caroline has accrued over 3,000 hours of training in Chinese Medicine theory, herbology, acupuncture, western medicine and clinical training from the prestigious Five Branches University in San Jose, CA. In December of 2015, she had the honor and the pleasure of studying in Taizhong, Taiwan at China Medical University Hospital. In 2017, she went to Copenhagen, Denmark to study under John Boel who has spent his career perfecting his methods to treat degenerative eye disorders and chronic pain, and to Minneapolis to study with Mats Sexton who is one of the leading experts in the U.S. treating eye conditions with acupuncture. This summer she had the privilege of studying with Jeffrey Yuen who was trained by one of the last imperial physicians of the Qing Dynasty.
As a Navy Veteran, she understands the needs of our service members after they rejoin the civilian world. Caroline spent a large part of her clinical internship providing free care to our veterans, volunteering to teach classes at the local VET Center, and collaborating with doctors at the VA Hospital in Palo Alto. It is her passion to help those who sacrificed so much so that the rest of us don’t have to.
Caroline is a dedicated practitioner and teacher of holistic medicine. She loves empowering patients to understand their bodies and discover the power of the healing arts.
